’Fatal Cycling Accident. WaLLiNGToy, This Day. ■ -Douglas Marks, son of Marcus Marks of the Hansard staff, died this morning from concussion of the brain caused by being blown over the hillside when cycling, A Well Insured Stock.
An enquiry is being held to day on the fire which occurred at Mrs Brown’s store in Eideiford Street on Sunday morning. The insurance on the stock was £2OO, and the valuation placed upon it by the commercial man £79. Mrs Brown declared the stock on Saturday was worth between £l5O and £l6O. It had been much reduced since the policy was takeii oat.
