London, Dec 19. ■ Private A. Woolward, 6ch New Zealand Mounteds, was severely wounded in the ♦high at Drakfontein. Krutlzinger with 30 followers invaded near Colesburg on the 15th and attempted on the 16sh to go west. Six blockhouses opened fire and Ktu.fzingor was wounded in the arin.
A body of 1200 foot guards are preparing to embork for South Africa in the middle oi January. De Krause’s trial is fixed for January.
She Polagoa Bay railwaj has been reopened to civil traffic at the rates prevailing prior to the war, also the importation of natives for the mines.
Veterans and corps of yeomanry and colonials previously at the front are being f irmed at Shortclitfe for South Africa. 100 have already enlisted.
