Captain Scott of the Discovery will make Port Chalmers the last port of call before sailing for the Antarctic ocean. He takes in coal there on Monday morng The Eight Contingent. There is a great rush for the Eight Contingent many being returned troopers, up to this evening 431 applications have been received.
