Received this day at 9 46 a. m. Sydney, Deo 20. “Parliament is working at a high pressure to put. the final touches on a number of bills, including Treasury Deficiency, Coal Mines Regulations Amendment, and the Tick Bills. The last named is intended to prevent the spread of tick from Queensland,
Mr See moved a serious of resolutions, asking the Federal Government to express their opinion on the various areas under offer, in view of accelerating the ■election of a site for the Federal capital. The Assembly having aired the grievances over the delays that bad occurred in connection with the matter, tae resolutions were dropped, The House adjourned till over Christmas.
