It was suggested that it should take the form of a mission steamer for New Guinea rivers, and the evangelisation of the district where Chalmers was murdered. Ship Wrecked —All Lost. Island news states that the wreck at Bicar Island some months ago is sapposed to be the ship “Manchester” bound from Philadelphia to Japan with a cargo of kerosene. It is believed all hands were lost.
Schooner Hissing. The Schooner “Santa Cruiz” bound from Hong Kong to the Carolines is missing. It is believed to have been lost with all hands.
Campbell Executed. Received this day at 12 55 a. m. Sydney, Deo 20. Campbell was executed. Death was iostanteous.
