{To the Ed tor.) Sih,—ln answer to Arnett and Seabrook’s letter—Arnett and Seabrook undertook to erect sample rooms for Mr Smith and complete the work within eight weeks, which they did not do. It took them twenty weeks to do so. Alterations being made in front was allowed as an extra and paid for, for which time allowance was made of four weeks including bad weather. Six weeks charged as the amount lost to Mr Smith through non-completion of contract within the time stipulated. The Magistrate’s judgement upholds my decision and awarded Mr Smith costs of court.
