THE KOMARA SPORTS.

A meeting of the Xmas Eports Committee was held last evening in the Town Hall, Mr E. Bouse in the chair. The secretary reported receiving 185 nominations for the different events which was deemed quite a record, and ensures the success of the sports. The tender of the Volunteer Band f r the supply of music was accepted. It was resolved to have a dance on the night of the sports. The President and Sicrotary were instructed to make arrangements for the same, and a supply of logs for the chopping and sawing events.
Eesolved that the meeting adjourn till Friday, Dec 13th, and in the meantime the handicappers prepare the handicaps for posting on that night, The following are the nominations : Maiden Bace—J.
