A WONDERFUL RECORD.

To-morrow (Wednesday) evening Mr A. H. Whitehouse appears at t the Opera House with the Biochronoscope and its huge programme of living scenes. As an entertainer he holds a wonderful record, and is described as having travelled over 100,000 miles in purchasing outfits to delight the public with, and each time succeeding in having some unique features which no other exhibitor could offer—taking the original phonograph to many parts of New Zealand for its first appearance, purchasing the only kifletoscope (Edison's first invention, showing moving pictures) which ever came to the eclony, again purchasing the first pro* jecting kinetoscope at Edison's Laboratory, and being accorded an interview with the great inventor, and securing an autograph letter from him; imported an animal picture camera, taking several colonial scenes; securing the first Concert Grand Theatrophone, which distances all competitors, and visiting the Paris Exhibition and procuring the Professional "Chrono" which had obtained the Grand Prix; also, selecting a more extensive and varied set of scenes than has ever been submitted in New Zealand. A contemporary refers to him as a "perfect Showman,' and his patrons on Wednesday night may safely expect a more than usually enjoyable entertainment.
