The Live Stock Report. Messrs G. W. Moss and Co. report yesterday's sah at Pros' on yards as follows : The entry consisted of 80 prime quality bullocks, 800 heavy erossbreds from the North Island, 200 sheep from the Grey Valley aad Hokiiika ditricts. The entry was in excess of the demand, 25 cattle and 150 sheep being unsold, late ruling rates were maintained. We sold the following stock. Fat Cattle. 00. account of Mr P. Corcoran, 40 prime quality bullocks from £ll to £9. Fat Sheep and Lambs. 90 heavy erossbreds on account of Mr J. M'Gregor, 19s 6d. 14 fat lambs for a client, at 14* 3d. Messrs G W Mois and Co report holding a sale of store cattle on the 4th inst. There was a yarding of 280 head fr mi Nelson and Grey Valley districts, the entry being an exceptionally gcod line and realised satisfactory prices to the vendors. We placed the following stojk :•—3 and 4 year old steers, £6 to £8; 2 and 3 year old steers, £i 5s to £o 17s 6d; 18 months and 2 year old steers, £3 to £3 17s 63 ; heifers, £3 to £* ss; fat heifers, £5 to £G 10s; 1 well bred short horn bull imported from Wanganui, 18 months old, M 10s.
