Insurance Amalgamation. . The United Australia and Colonial Mutual Fire Insurance Coys have agreed to a scheme for amalgamation. It requires the shareholders sanction. The Sugar Crop Brisbane, Dec 10. The Premier states that the estimate value of Queensland Sugar crop this season is two million sterling. Colonial Reciprocity. Melbourne, Deo 10 Laurierhas cabled to Barton : The Canadian Government proposes to meet reprseentatives of tho Australian and New Zealand Governments in London next year, or at some other convenient time to consider trade, postal, cable and other matters, and trust the Government cooperative Barton has replied agreeing to the proposal.
