The Daily Chronicle states that Caret ml Moran has resigned in consequence of being appointed resident prelate of the Curia, and that Monuignor Kelly, recently appointed coadjutor Archbishop o -sydney, has been appointed the new me ropulitan.

Cardinal Moran, in an interview, stated that there was no truth in the Chronicle’s statement.
