According to the Capetown merchants the quality of the butter received from this colony at the Cape has not been satisfactory. This has been particularly noticeable when the butter had gone through Australian dealers. There is, however, a certain trade for fine quality shipped regularly. The Durban information is to the effect that it would not be advisable to send large shipments to that place at first but small consignments would enable a test to be made.
