The Destroyer " Salmon." Received this day at 8 55 a.m. London, December 4. The destroyer Salmon did not sink, but was towed to Harwich harbor and beached. The steamer Cambridge's bow crashed into the-stokehole wrecking the boilers. The steam imprisoned four stokers. A sailor gallantly rescued two through a manhole. Small Pox.
Four hundred and thirty-eight cases of smallpox are reported in London. There were 137 deaths since August 3rd.
The Liverpool Bank Fraud. John Aiken and John Roberts, bookmakers at Liverpool, have been arrested as accessories to Goudie. The Druee Case.
