We regret to hear that Mr W. ArneU, our well-known architect and builder, met with a nasty accident yesterday. Engaged at work among some timber he slipped, which caused a strain to his back. The stricture proved very painful, and Mr Arnett had to be carried to his room, where he will have to remain for a few days. Under the docter’s treatment wo hope soon to see the genial citizen at his work again. Mr Frederick Wither, Government Eoad Overseer for Westland, has received word that he is to be removed to Christchurch.
