The Boers aro constantly escaping from the concentration camps and joining commandos, regardless of the oath of neutrality. The Boers at the Cape are raiding the Dutch and British alike, thereby alienating many sympathisers. Commandant Brand has again invaded the Cape. He was joined by a hundred and fifty Boers northwards of Philipstown-.
Major Jack Bercsford skirmishing northwards of Bultfontein captured eleven Boers and many horses. Minor captures have been made elsewhere.
There is considerable increase in the number of Boeis swearing allegiance, both in the Orange and Transvaal colonies
