Greymouth v. Hokitika.
The cricket match Greymouth v. Hokitika on Saturday resulted in a defeat for the Hokitka team by 33 runs—the Greymouth team compiling 78 runs and Hekitika 45. Owing to the rain play was stopped at 2 la p.m. and the match was decided on the first innings. For Grey Adams (33) and Knell were the chief scorers; and for the Hokitika Bowling (16) was the only one to reach double figures. It is proposed to play a return match at an early date.
