On the advice of the labor Council Hordern's tailoresses declined to return to work, Hordern, early in the dispute, conceded a new log involving increased wages, but successfully resisted all efforts to compel him to dismiss the non-Union forewoman.

A Derelict. Sydney, Nov 30.

London advices indicate that the derelict reported by the Loch Broom on November 18th, is probably the Glasgow barque "Norfolk Islsnd" from Glasgow to Table Bay, which was burned at sea in latitude 25 and longitude 23 west. 1 art of the crew were saved and landed at Balua. Athletic Gathering-. The team to represent Now South Wales at the Auckland athletic meeting has been completed.
