BUBONIC PLAGUE IN SYDNEY.
Another Outbreak deemed Inevitable. Extraordinary Precautions to be Adopted. [per PRESS ASSOCIATION —-COPTRIGHTt] Received this day at 9 17 a m. Sydney, Not 28, A vigorous resumption of trapping and other forms of destruction has resulted in the discovery of a largo number of plagued rats at the harbour fore shores and in various parts of the city. The health authorities consider the outlook very serious. The Mayor stated that it appears to be almost impossible to avert another outbreak of plague. Arrangements have been made to resume systematic fumigation of sewers. The public are urged to assist in the destruction of rats. Melbourne, Nov 28.
Owing to the discovery of plagued rats in Sydney, trapping on the wharves has been resumed. It is reported that they are dying in, largo numbers.
