The Old Diggings machine is tern* "porarily stopped, owing to a breakage. Greenstone Ckbek dredge, owing to tine bringing down a lot of silt, did not w ash up but the ground is improving and m< )re profitable, returns are looked for in the* future, A cflam is being built to refloat the T) tree Mile Greenstone dredge. If the w eaftlher is favourable the dredge should be > at -work again in about ten days. The Rocklands dredge has been laid up d .uring the past nine days, owing to the 1 «eakmg or the elevator tumbler. It was expected work would be resumed today.
