The heavy claims of the Catholic missions are unfavorable contrasted therewith. The Turkish Trouble. Constantinople, Nov 13. The Porte has agreed to the Austrian claims in connection with the recent troubles in Turkish provinces, including the Austrians losses in the Armenian massacres. Frisco Mail Service. London, Nov 13. The Post Office authorities deny that it is contemplated to use the the Frisco route for Australian Mails. The State would gladly adopt it if offered the advantage of time. London Underground Trams. The London County Council has decided to adopt shallow underground tramways in the main streets.
