CRICKET.

The Grey Cricket Club. Tbo first scratch match was played on Victoria Park yesterday between two sides drawn for by Messrs Pochin and Fricker. For a first trial some good scoring was shown. An innings of 102 on one side, and 94 on the other being a good deal over the average. The scoring was as follows

Druids Club. The Druids Cricket Club met last evening when it was decided to meet for practice every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon and also every evening. It was resolved that the colors of the Club be red, white, and blue. The letter from Lord Banfurly accepting the patronship of the Club was read amidst applause, and it was decided to frame the letter. Arrangements are being made to meet the Beefton Druids at an early date in a friendly match.
