Large and noisy meetings of six German Universities of veteran warriors of 1870 in the Franco-German war, denounced Chamberlain’s insitlting references in regard to the methods of the German campaign.
The Cologne Gazette shows that the agitation is based on the mistranslations that Leyds had semi-officially warned Bannerman that an agitation against Chamberlain would not modify Germany’s policy.
