The weather was fine for the Waver ley races and the attendance very good. £7,305 was put through the machine, an increase £1,177 over the previous meeting. Results: — Hurdles—Nea 1, New Zealand 2, Puanga 3. Ingatarangi was scratched. Time, 32. Divs, £2 11s 6d and £2 10s.
Flying —Blackwing 1, King Edward 2, Detonator 3. Scratched—Bowman and Queenie. Time, 118 3-5. Divs, £4 and £1 4s 6d.
Morton Memorial Stakes—Fair Jess 1, Killarney 2, Hardwick 3. Scratched — Siandra and King Edward. Time, 15. Divs, £9 12s 6d and £1 16s.
Cup—Legion of Honor 1, Elusion 2, Hautonga 3. All started. Won on the post by a neck. Time, 2 50. Divs, £2 11s and 18s 6d. Duke of York Stakes—Black wing 1, Hardwork 2, King Edward 3. Fair Jess, Moreen and Retrieve were scratched. Time, 131 i. Divs, £2 17s Gd and £5 16s 6d.
Wilson Stakes—Royal Flush 1, Laertes 2, Marian thus 3, Scratched—Lidbrook, Queenie, Fair Jess and Convoy. Time, 51£. Divs, £7 9s and £3 3s. Momohaki Stakes—Legion of Honor 1, Bowman 2, Van 3. Time, 2 ISA. Divs, £3 17s 6d and 14s. Scratched—Otaio. Jackson Stakes—Lidbrook 1, Reclaimer 2, Laertes 3. Scratched —Sportsman, Poataniwha, Royal Flush and Wereora. Time, 51 secs. Dunedin, November 11
The attendance at the Winton races was not so good as last year. The weather was dull and cold, and hail fell towards the close of the meeting. The tote put through £1,419 against £1,860 for the same day last year. Results:

Flying—Gold Ring 1, St Brigid 2. Div £ll3s.
Trot—Silver Mine 1, Royolla2. Divs £sl 2s and £2l9s.
Tradesmen’s Handicap—Ardnarf 1, Silver Maid 2. Divs £6 13s and £4 4s.
