Sudden Death Napier, November 8,
A sudden death occurred on board the Zealandia to-day while the vessel was lying alongside the Glasgow wharf. The deceased was a Sydney medico, Dr Clinton Stuart, of Bulli, near Sydney, who was suffering from heart disease, and who was taking a sea trip for his health. He originally booked a saloon passage from Sydney to Auckland on October 23rd, but finding that the trip had benefitted his health considerably he continued his voyage to Dunedin, and proposed returning home on the same steamer, and was on his way back to Sydney when he was taken suddenly ill, expiring soon afterwards. An inquest was held to-day, when a verdict of death from heart disease was returned.
