Dr Miller M’Guire, the famous army coach, states that*Qeneral Bailer helio graphed to General White that if he was unable to resist for a month to make the best terms after destroying the ammunition. The Boers are hovering about at Dejaagersdrift. Lord Kitchener in reporting the Brakenalaagte affair states that the Boers got nothing but guns. Forty four Boers were killed and a hundred wounded including General Ohris Botha, Chamberlain’s speech immediately after the prolonged Cabinet meeting is interpreted as a direct and authorative reply to the pro-Boer suggestion that we should offer the enemy terms. ______ The Counties Liberal Federation, Carrington presiding, passed a resolution demanding i hat the Boer* be immediately offered autonomy similar to that in Australia within a fixed and early period. St Petersatjbo, Nov 7. An official Gazette states that is supplying twenty thousand horses for South Africa.
