Metropolitan Handicap—Battleaxe 1, Kahuwai 2, Palaver 3. Scratched—Melwood. "Won by half a length. Time, 2 39. Divs, £8 4s 6d and £7 10s. Auction Handicap—Daisy Chain 1, Hawthorn 2, Puawai 3. Won by a length. Time, 14. Divs, £7 16s and 18s 6d. Epsom High Weight—Magnificent 1, Lady Lilian 2, Paphos 3. All started. Won by half a head. Time, 1 45. Divs, £7 os 6d and £1 15s 6d. Irwell Handicap—Greek Maid 1, Aherlow 2, Vladimir 3, Stepdanccr was scratched. Won by half a length. Time, 49 4-5. Divs, £3 18s 5d and £4 8s Gd.
