The weather is fine. There is a large crowd present, but not so numerous as on the first day. Results so far to hand are:
Middleton Hurdles -Huku 1, Dundee 2. Eight Metal 9. Won easily by five lengths. Time. 3 22. Divs, £3 13s and £2 5s fid. Criterion Handicap—Terrapin 1, Pampero 2, Jabber 3. Time, 1 31 3-sths. Divs £3V 14s fid, £1 Os fid. Won on post. Juvenile Handicap—Royal Artillery 1, Porirua 2, Bombardo 3; Scratched— Orloff. Won easily all the Hay. Time 1 4 1 5.
Divs. £T 3s fid and £1 Is. Another telegram to hand gives the dividend on the second horse £3 Is. Derby—MenschikofE 1, Cruciform 2, Canteen 3. Won easily. Time 237 4-5. Div £l 3s,
Metropolitan Handicap—Battlcaxe 1, Kahuwai 2, Palaver 3.
