Breach of Promise Case. London, Oct 30.-
The Court declined to re-open the Brodie-Maegregor breach of promise case on the grounds that insufficient damages were awarded.
Received this day at 10 5 a.m. The Bubonic Plague. London, October 30. Two deaths have occurred from plague at Liverpool.
The Turkish Difficulty. The Times’ Constantinople correspond dent says that the Turkish Ambassador at St. Petersburg reports that the annexation of Crete by Greece is imminent and inevitable.
The Russian Embezzlers. St. Petersburg, October 30.
The chief embezzler of the Nijninovgorod frauds was sentenced to twelve months in a fortress.
French v. British Commerce. Pabis, October 30. The French dockers’ proposal to boy* cott British commerce, with a view of compelling the termination of the war, was a fiasco. The dockers at Antwerp and Hamburg and the merchants of Holland refused to co-operate. A. French Loan. Received this day at 9 45 a. m. Pabis, Oct 30.
The French loan issued on the security of the Chinese, indemnity covers the cost of the China expedition and enables three millions sterling to be paid to French merchants and missionaries, who were victims of the Boxers.
A Peculiar Case. London, Oct 80. The trial of the Frenchman named Faugeron for causing the death of Jury, a Swiss jeweller in London last month ended in a sentence of death. The evidence showed Faugeron was an ex-convict and bad deserted from the army. Hia story in reference to the plot to kill Chamberlain was not believed.
In Honor of Czolgosz. Carmagtole and Sutg dances were held in honor of Czolgosz at the Anarchists Club in London, The police dispersed the noisy gathering.
Guiana Boundary Difficulty. Cleakenwell and the King of Italy haVt agreed to arbitrate in connection with the Quiana boundary difficulty.
Shipping Bounties. Received this day at 2 62 a. m. Paeis, Oct 30. M. Miller the Minister of Commerce has introduced a Bill withdrawing the bounties on sailing vessels in favor of a steamer’s bounty on French built steamers of 277 francs per ton, and on foreign built ones a smaller amount.

General Buffer declined to receive ft testimonial and subscriptions thereto and handed it. to military charity.
