London, Oct 29. Co’.cnel Rimington surprised Louis Botha’s laager. Botha escaped a few hundred yards in advance of the attackers, abandoning his hat, revolver, and papers. Ten Boers were captured. The remainder of his followers who were with him recently threatened to attack Natal, have scattered amongst the hills.
Prisoners captured by Dawkins include Hans Botha, brother of Louis Botha.
