Eiccarton Training Notes. ' Christchurch, This Day. /Vll ilie Cup horses but Tortulla and Melwood are now at headquarters. There was not much fast work done this morning. Battleaxe and Duudas galloped a mile in 1 min 47 secs. Paphos, Ideal, and Reliance a half mile in Slsccs. The last named is a lazy worker, being beaten off. Military and Calibre did a mile and a half the last round in 2 44—a good working gallop. Pampero, Palaver, Djin Djin, Glenaladale, Fulmen, Okoari, Kahuwai, Sirius, Straithnairn, and most of the local horses were given steady exercise.
