A BRUNNER WEDDING.

A wedding which attracted a good deal of attention amongst the young folk, took place at Brunner on Thursday afternoon October 24, at the residence of the bride's parents. The contracting parties were Mr Thomas Julian, eldest son of Mr George Julian, and Miss Agnes, eldest daughter of Mr Thomas Glenn, both old and popular residents of Coalpolis. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming dressed in lavender cashmere trimmed with cream satin, lace, and pearl trimmings. White leghorn hat with feathers and chiffon, and carried a beautitiful shower bouquet. Miss Evan Julian (sister of the bridegroom) as bridesmaid looked very pretty in a blue lustre trimmed with white satin. Mr Samuel Julian officiated as best man, and the Rev. Mr Stewart of Greymouth tied the nuptial knot. A iter the ceremony was performed, the wedding guests went for a drive, and in the evening a large number of friends attended a danee in their honor in Kaye's Hall. A largo number of costly and useful presents were tendered to the newly wedded couple.
