Wellington This Day, The House met at 2 30 o'clock. THAMES DEEP LEVEL.
The Goldfields and Mines Committee referred to the Government two schemes by C. A. Harris and J. W. "Walker for dovelopmeets of the Thames goldfields. The whole afternoon was occupied with local bills. TJtE LOAN KILLS., The House resumed at 7 30. The Bill authorising Government t'> raise a loan in aid of Public Works and Land Settlement was introduced by the Governor's message and read a first time. PUBLIC WORKS STATEMENT. Mr Seddon said he proposed, to take the debate on the Public Works Statement on Monday night. LOCAL BILL. The Pariroa Native Reserve Bill passed the final stages as did also the Coal Mines Act Amendment Bill.
