■ln April last the barge Gwyder in tow J foundered and three men were drowned.' In Assembly several labour members vehemently attacked the Government for not holding an independent enquiry into the loss of the barge, and asserted that the owner was a member of the Maiine Board and had not conformed with the law. One member stated that the barge was utterly unseaworthy, and that tho men were morally murdered. The Premier promised to state next week whether he would take criminal I proceedings"against the master of the tug, I or.the owner of tha barge,
