UNION COMPANY’S SUMMER CRUISE.

The West Coast Sounds excursions of the Union Steam Ship Company have earned a reputation that extends far beyond the limit of the colonies, and year by year an increasing number of tourists visit New Zea’and therefore. This year the Walcare will again be employed to make the trip. She will leave Sydney on Saturday 4th January, proceeding by way of Wellington and Lyttelton to Dunedin, where she is due on the 11th. Two days will be given to excursionists to spend , in tbo Southern city, and on the 13 h the steamer will steam out for Stewart Island, and the West Coast Sounds. Former excursions occupied twelve days, but this year two days have been added, one of which will be spent at Milford Sound, and excursionists will bo given an opportunity of visiting the beautiful Sutherland Fall. Passengers wishing to visit the lakes may leave the Waikarc at the Bluff and proceed by train and steamer to Queenstown, Lake Wukatipu, returning to Dunedin to join the excursion steamer an 30th January. On Monday, 27th January, the Waikaro is duo back at Dunedin, and will leave for Sydney via Lyttelton and Wellington on the 30ch, arriving there on Wednesday, sth February, thus completing the excursion in a little less than five weeks. Now Zealand passengers will join the vessel at Dunedin.
