Ap-ahura Live Stock Report. Mark Sprot and Co report their sale at Arahura yesterday. The entry of fat c%ttle consisted of 70 head, chiefly light height medium quality steers and heifers, pwmg to the general shortage of fat /stock in the district buyers were present from all parts and competed eagerly up to prices the highest for the past 20 years. Best bullocks fetched up to £l2 7s 6d, and heifers £9, Owing to the detention by bad weather of the stock boat from the North Island the usual supply of fat meat was not to hand. We disposed of privately on account o£ Messrs Abraham and Williams 120 ewes and wethers at 23s 6d. [per PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.]
