A BRUNNER WEDDING.

A wedding that attracted a large number of tho fair sex to the Catholic Church yesterday afcornoon, was the marriage of Mr Michael McDonald (oldest son of the late Patrick McDonald, who was killed in the Brunner Mine disaster.) to Miss Norah Kenned v, both well known residents of Brunnerton. Tho bride looked lovely and was attired in a cream silk dress with satin and pearl trimmings, with the usual orange blossom and veil and she also wore a handsome gold brooch and bangle, the gift of tho bridegroom. a cream figured zephyr dress with picture hat, aad wore a gold brooch, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr D. Kennedy, brother of the bride, acted as best man. Mr Cornelius Kennedy, father of the bride, gave her away. The Her. Father Kemble tied the nuptial knot. After the ceremony was performed, the happy couple adjourned to the residence of the bride’s father, were a sumptuous spread was provided, a very large circle of friends being present, to do honor to the occasion. The largo numbers of handsome presents testified to the popularity of the newly wedded coulpe, who left per Haupiri for Wellington.
