[per .press ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.] Received this day, at 1 35 p.m. Sydney, This Day. There is fine weather for the Eight Hours’ Demonstration. The revival of interest in Trades Unionism during the past couple of years is evidenced by the increased number and augmented membership of societies participating. Thirtyfour, including a number of new societies, marched in procession through the streets to the Agricultural Grounds where sports are being held. It took an hour to pass a given point.
