The Hungarian Elections. Buha Pesth, October 5,
In connection with the Hungarian elections, a supporter of M. Franz Kossuth defeated M. Tisza, the former Premier, and a prominent Liberal leader, for the Grosswardeen seat in the Lower House of the Reichsrath. Tisza withdraws from politics. The Liberals lost 34 seats and the Kossuthites won 17. Election riots occurred at Pinczthely and elsewhare in Hungary. Twenty were killed and 17 wounded.
