The Bubonic Plague. Bbisbanb, Oct. 8. A man died in the hospital whose case was diagnosed as' plague. Ha was employed in a Queen street shop, where a plagued rate was caught a few days ago. Stranded New Zealanders. Sydnbi, October 8.
The Premier stated in the Assembly that four New Zealand soldiers stranded at Sydney left by the Weikare under an arrangement between the New South Wales Government and the Union Company, The oost of the passage to New Zealand is charged against the Imperial government.

The Slav of Australia bad an extremely rough passage, with a series of severe gales for the last three days, and was unable to take soundings, daring which she drifted 30 miles southward. She sustained no damage.
