Details of the Moedwill fight show that Featherson, Hpugh’s, and Kekewich’s , columns were returning separately after ■ driving the Boers to the northwest when Kemp who was acting under Delarey, •crept back and attacked Kekewich, firing into the camp on thb dawn of the 30th, Kekewich carried the Boer position the enemy retiring precipitately. - The British lost many horses and were unable to pursue. The wounded were taken to Hustonhurg.
