We noticed a further improvement in street lighting on Saturday night, when Messrs Tymons and Co.’s large drapery windows were beautifully lit up by two lights—lncandescent lights with oblique reflecting globes. These lamps were obtained from the Borough Council who having being appointed agents for the Incandescent Coy’s goods supply and erect the lamps at net cost price. This is a great boon to the ratepayers. Orders for a dozen more lamps have been received.
