Ten Boer leaders have been captured since the 15th and sentenced to permanent banishment.
Comraandcht Botha with a large force has quitted the vicinity of Dc danger's Drift, and encamped on the Transvaal side of Nkanthi HillBoer advices state that Beyers And Yiljoen have joined Botha, who has a force of 5,000 Lieutenant Grant, of the 13 th Lancers, in entering Scheepers’ laager alone on the night of the 23rd summoned the Boers to surrender. Three complied with Grant’s demand. He then threw their rifles in the river and revolvered two of the enemy. In the confusion he fired at random wounding his own men* Complaints are made of the short supplies ef food stuffs at Bloemfontein.
