Sir.—For three Saturday nights in succession the residents of Tainui, Alexander and Murray streets have been, between eleven o’clock and midnight, treated and roused from their slumbers by the howling and yelling of a pack of larrikins, who rendered night hedious with their din and profanity. Last Saturday a gang of these larrikins again disturbed the residents, shocking those who happened to bo awake with their language, which by the way they adopt a very effective way of making known. To awaken and startle all, they indulge in combined yells, add follow this up with the vilest of language at the height of their voices. Tours etc.Law and Ordes.
