Eighteen Lives Lost.

London, Sept 19, The torpedo boat destroyer, Cobra, was wrecked in making a steam trial from the constructors yard at Newcastle to Portsmouth. She struck a rook on Downsing Shoals, broke in halves, and foundered. Twelve out of thirty aboard were rescued alive. Six bodies were brought to Gimsby.
