GREYMOUTH TROTTING CLUB.

The monthly meeting of the Greymouih Trotting Club was held last night at the Club room, Albion Hotel, at which the programme for the New Year’s meeting was read and approved of. The list provides sixteen events —eight each day, the smallest stake being £25 and the highest £7O. The total amount of money offered in stakes is £515, or £75 increase. The list is as follows : FIKST DAY. • Trial Handicap, of 25 sovs, in saddle, two miles. Westland Handicap, of 25 sovs, in harness, two miles. Midland Handicap, of 25 sovs, in saddle, one mile,

Greymouth Trotting Club Handicap, of 70 sovs, in harness, two miles. Juvenile Stakes, of 60 sovs, in harness, one. mile.

Ladies Bracelet Handicap of 15 sovs with 15 sovs added in saddle or harness, one and a half miles. Grand Stand Handicap, of 25 sovs, in harness, one and a half miles. County Handicap, of 35 sovs, in saddle, two miles.

It was resolved that Mr. James offer to work the totalisator on same terms as last year be accepted.
