THE WORKERS’ COMPENSATION ACT, 1901, INVOLVES Employers in tlio following Liability, payable by them for personal injuries caused by Accident, “ arising out of and in course of Employment,” viz:— For FATAL ACCIDENT— Three Years Wages. Minimum Liabilit. £2OO ; maximum £4OO. , For TOTAL or PARTIAL DISABLE. MENT—(After the Second Week) —Compensatioi at the rate of Half Wages, such pay men’ not to exceed £2 per week, up to a’ aggregate £9OO. In addition to the above Employer are liable under The Employers Liability Acts, viz—Death up to 3 years’ wages ; maximum £SOO. Disablement, full wage and damages up to a sum equal to 3 year wages; maximum £SOO. Also Compensation or Damages under The Common Law, thus—Employers wil now be practically LIABLE for al Accidents.
