The Kini is detained by heavy sea but it is hoped will leave to-night for Lyttelton and Timaru. ' The Janet Nicoll arrived last night from Westport and sails to-night for Dunedin direct.

The Haupiri leaves Wellington today via ports for Grey arriving on Mpnday, and sailing same night.

The Eosamond arrives this afternoon from Lyttelton to load timber, The Herald leaves Lyttelton to-day for Grey direct. The Corinna left Dunedin yesterday via usual ports for Grey, i The Omapero arrives from Auckland via Bay ports about Wednesday next. The'schooner Clyde sailed for Lyttelton yesterday. The Himitangi arrived last night from Foxton.

The Moa arrived last night from Wanganui. The' Petone arrived last night from Wellington with the ’Frisco mail. The Toroa sailed yesterday for Gisborne*
