THE FINANCIAL DEBATE.
(our pabliambntaty reporter) Wellington, This Day, The Premier desired to close the debate last night, but was frustrated by Hardy, who carried on the discussion till such a time as to preclude the possibility of Mr Seddon making his reply before the hour under which the House must rise on Fridays, (10 30 p m.) The Premier was evidently sore at being blocked by the member for Selwyn and immediately prior to the House rising, gave notice orhis intention to move for the recision of the rule regarding forenoon sittings.
