A-trouble has arisen between the Harbor Trust and gas companies owing to the Trust imposing a duty of sixpence per ton on coal. The Australian Gaslight Company refused to pay on the ground that the Trust is exceeding the powers under the Act. The company threatened to stop the gas supply, when the Trust refused to allow them to land coal. The company then obtained an injunction preventing interference till Tuesday, when the case will be argued.
