Breach of Privilege.
Wellington, This lay. In ,the House at 10.30 the Privileges Committee which enquired into the publication by the Dunedin Star of certain evidence given before the Mines Committee, reported that Mr A. E, Cohen a Parliamentary representative to that paper bad stated to the Committee that be had obtained his evidence in a thoroughly honourable manner, but that no amount of pressure would induce him to disclose the source of his information. In consequence of that refusal the Cornleft it to the House to determine what steps would be taken in the matter. The consideration of the * report was made a first order of the day for Tuesday.
